This depends on the damage it has taken. If there are internal structural damage like bumps or large cracks on the sidewall the tire is weakened and should be replaced. If you have a deep, long cut on the tread then don’t attempt to repair it.
Car tire repair is only possible where you got a puncture from nails or small sharp objects where the hole is not larger than a quarter inch or 6 mm in size.
PLEASE NOTE – If your car has run-flat tires and you have a puncture, please consult your dealership or specialist. In most cases, it is not safe to repair a run-flat tire.
